RED admiral butterfly numbers soared 75% this summer despite wet weather, according to the Big Butterfly Count. AN OFFICE worker at an ambulance HQ delivered her grandson with a phone call from a 999 colleague.

Sue Gillard, 55, went to help daughter Stacey in Newport, South Wales.

Call handler Danielle Burrows gave her advice.

Sue said: “My first words were “I’m your nanna!’.”
