ITV, 9pm Laura (Joanne Froggatt) is hardly endearing herself to anyone. Suspecting Andrew (Ioan Gruffudd) drugged her, she has already broken into his house to search for clues.
Then there’s the whole social media fail, which saw her blurting out all her feelings on Facebook – I mean, who does that? Oh, right, everyone.
And now there’s a man on the phone to Andrew whispering: “She’s done this before.” A former colleague of Laura’s called Dennis, he visits Andrew to explain her accusation. But as he and Andrew compare woes over coffee, you’ll be wondering: Is Dennis another wrongly accused man, or is he another liar? Did they both attack her?
Laura decides to move out of Katy’s house and back to her flat, which results in more flashbacks to the night it all happened (or didn’t).
And the episode is punctuated with the odd frantic search for her earring.
But when one of her pupils suddenly falls ill, Laura will need to face her foe. And everything builds to a brilliantly creepy cliffhanger.
