BARBET CUTS UP TROTTERS
YOHANN BARBET ended a traumatic week on a high after Brentford finally broke their duck.
Barbet’s stunning free-kick set the Bees on their way before Nico Yennaris and Ollie Watkins polished off rock-bottom Bolton.
The Frenchman said: “I’ve had a tough few days. On Friday I was in France to see my mum because she had heart surgery. I came back on the day of the game and came on and scored.”
The Trotters set an unwanted club record of six games without a goal and boss Phil Parkinson said: “We must keep searching to find a way of coming through this.”
