Prescott slates big-money TV hosts

FURY Prescott rows with Morgan and Reid JOHN Prescott savaged Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid in a row on TV’s Good Morning Britain.

The Labour heavyweight hit out during a live interview from Brighton with the presenters.

Lord Prescott called the hosts out for their “big” wages when they brought up his expenses. After being asked if he backed illegal strikes, Lord Prescott asked Ms Reid: “Have you ever been on strike?”

She replied: “Yes I have,” before claiming that he was turning the debate into a “personal issue”.

The former deputy Labour chief hit back: “You’re on a big wage though.” Mr Morgan asked how much he was earning in the House of Lords.

Lord Prescott said: “I get £300. £150 goes to my secretary and £150 goes to a hotel. Do you do that? Do you spend all your bloody expenses? No you don’t. You’re coining it in.”
