Brit admits killing wife at trial in Spain
A BRITISH car salesman who had claimed his wife choked to death in a sex game has admitted killing her during a trial in Spain.
Warren Lyttle, 52, made the confession in a deal with prosecutors, who wanted a murder conviction and 20-year jail term.
The court in Majorca’s capital Palma was told the British expat now faced a charge of homicide, a lesser offence in Spanish law, and 12 years in prison.
Lyttle’s wife Lisa Jane, 49, from Kilburn, North West London, was found dead at his home near Magaluf on January 23, 2016.
He told a hearing next day she choked in sadomasochistic role-play.
But prosecutors always insisted he had attacked her with a mobile phone cable after an argument.
