RESCUERS pull a terrified schnauzer from a flattened building in Mexico City, six days after a deadly quake.

A Japanese crew found the pooch, who survived in an air pocket between lumps of concrete, after the 7.1-magnitude tremor last Tuesday killed at least 300 people.

Teams are still searching the rubble for survivors, but hopes are dwindling.
