The young man whose girlfriend makes no secret of the fact she lusts after his best friend (Dear Coleen, Sept 15) needs to let her know it’s unacceptable.

Or, better still, give her short shrift and end the relationship.

I would imagine that his friend wouldn’t be interested in her anyway.
