Liam may gatecrash the Ashes
LIAM LIVINGSTONE has emerged as a potential late Ashes possibility after impressing for Lancashire and the Lions this summer.
With 17 tour places – one more than usual – the hardhitting Livingstone, James Vince and Gary Ballance are set to be the subject of much discussion when the selectors mull over thinlooking batting options.
The all-rounder batted at No.3 for most of the season, scoring 733 Division One runs at an average of 45.8.
Vince has 592 at 34.8, but played seven Tests and boss Trevor Bayliss made it clear they will pick from players already capped. Livingstone cannot match that experience but has played T20 for England.
