Benteke is broken

CRYSTAL PALACE have suffered yet more misery with the news that £27million striker Christian Benteke is facing six weeks out with a knee injury.

The Belgian forward suffered the damage during Saturday’s 5-0 defeat at Manchester City.

Benteke, 26, underwent a scan with the club fearing six weeks is the minimum period he will be missing.

Palace are bottom of the Premier League after losing their first six games without scoring a goal.

Roy Hodgson’s side face a daunting trip to Manchester United on Saturday.
