Kenny eyes record gold in Tokyo
SIX-TIME Olympic champion Jason Kenny plans to race on to Tokyo 2020 after almost quitting.
The 29-year-old Bolton rider won three gold medals in Rio to take his tally to six gold and one silver, level with Sir Chris Hoy.
Kenny, married to four-time Olympic champ Laura Trott, is now ready to commit to his fourth Games, saying: “After Rio, I’d pretty much made my decision to walk away from cycling. But after taking a year out, getting married and having our first child, I felt refreshed.”
