NO MOUR PLAYSTATION
Mkhitaryan says Jose was spot on to slam United’s flashy football
HENRIKH MKHITARYAN says boss Jose Mourinho was right to criticise his Manchester United side for indulging in “PlayStation football.”
Mourinho aimed the jibe at his players after the 3-0 win over Basel in their opening group game in the Champions League, accusing them of losing their
focus and trying too many tricks. And Mkhitaryan said: “Everyone knows Jose Mourinho is very demanding and what he said is right.
“We’re trying to improve that aspect and be more focused during the whole game and not to start playing fantasy football, or PlayStation football, in the last 20 or 25 minutes of a match.”
Mkhitaryan (right, in training yesterday) warned his teammates that CSKA Moscow will provide a stern Champions League test in the Russian capital. “I watch CSKA games in the Russian league and they have a lot of experience in their team,” he said.
