It said gunman Lee Harvey Oswald had acted alone. 32 YEARS AGO (1985)

Riots broke out after police shot and seriously injured mother of eight, Cherry Groce, during a raid on a house in Brixton, South London. Gangs of youths set fire to cars and looted shops. One person was killed and more than 50 injured in the violence. Ms Groce died of kidney failure in 2011.
