Repair manual publisher Haynes has launched a service for DIYers that allows them to download an instructio­nal video for a whole range of tasks on specific models.

Haynes spokesman Andrew Golby says the clips dispel the myth that it’s not possible to do jobs on modern cars. He says: “We have videos that show you how to replace parts from spark plugs to starter motors, with the latter saving the car owner at least £250.”
