Famous cover girls.. and ones who said ‘No’
ICON Marilyn graced first ever mag MARILYN Monroe was the cover girl and centrefold of the first ever Playboy magazine in 1953.
Since then a host of famous women have followed suit including Ursula Andress, Brigitte Bardot, Farrah Fawcett, Madonna, Joan Collins, Dolly Parton, Kim Kardashian, Kate Moss – and even cartoon star Marge Simpson.
But many refused, despite huge cash offers. Former Spice Girl Mel B turned them down five times and Dynasty star Emma Samms twice said no.
Adele, inset, revealed she’d been asked “so many f***ing times, it’s ridiculous” and wondered was it “because I’m a woman or because I’m fat?” Jennifer Aniston and Kylie Minogue reportedly both rejected $4million deals.
While Cheryl Cole is said to have snubbed £500,000. Rihanna also said no, reportedly declaring: “I would never be naked for money.”
