Cricketer leg chop appeal

-

A DISABLED England cricketer is raising cash – to have his leg amputated.

Rob Franks, 39, had two bone tumours removed, but nerve damage has left him in constant pain.

The dad-of-three, who played cricket six times for England’s disabled team, needs £15,000 for an op not funded by the NHS.

Rob, of Poole, Dorset, said: “I don’t want to be in pain, a private amputation is my only hope.

“I honestly can’t describe the pain I’m in all day.”
