Pilot twins in final landings

TWIN brothers have retired as pilots after landing their final flights just 30 seconds apart.

British Airways captains Jeremy and Nick Hart celebrated their 60th birthdays by touching down for the last time at Heathrow.

Nick, of Banbury, Oxon, landed at 12.34pm, while Jeremy, of Flitton, Beds landed at 12.35pm on Thursday. “I’ve spent over two and a half years in the air,” added Jeremy. “A lot of it in the holding pattern over Heathrow.”
