Pi­lot twins in fi­nal land­ings

TWIN broth­ers have re­tired as pi­lots af­ter land­ing their fi­nal flights just 30 sec­onds apart.

Bri­tish Air­ways cap­tains Jeremy and Nick Hart cel­e­brated their 60th birthdays by touch­ing down for the last time at Heathrow.

Nick, of Ban­bury, Oxon, landed at 12.34pm, while Jeremy, of Flit­ton, Beds landed at 12.35pm on Thurs­day. “I’ve spent over two and a half years in the air,” added Jeremy. “A lot of it in the hold­ing pat­tern over Heathrow.”
