Trump sours my love for America

I’d rather we had the Kardashians ruling in the White House

WHEN I was growing up I always looked to the United States and thought that it was the best country in the whole world. It was the land of opportunity, the land of the free, the place where dreams could come true.

I love LA, New York and I have a holiday home in Miami. But now Donald Trump is in power, I have lost respect for the place.

I just cannot believe that Americans voted this orange clown in. What on earth were they thinking?

If he was on The X Factor he would be the joke act. But without the talent of Chico, Wagner or Honey G. In fact, he’d have struggled to get four yesses and make it through to bootcamp.

He knows nothing about anything, he has no people skills, he is not worldly, and he is most definitely not presidential.

What he does have is the world’s biggest ego (even bigger than Simon Cowell’s and that’s saying something). In Donald Trump’s world there is only himself, his hotels and his family. He doesn’t seem to care about anybody else at all. I would honestly prefer to have the Kardashians in the White House – they would be more entertaining, and they would certainly look better. In all seriousness though, I read the papers every day and check the news every night and it is like I am watching the drama House of Cards in real time. It is so scary to think that Donald Trump is the most powerful person in the world and could be heading towards war with Kim Jong-un and North Korea. And there’s another person who shouldn’t be in power. We have these two clowns squaring up against each other, but it isn’t a game. It is a real-life bad dream that could change the world as we know it.

Only yesterday the Mirror was reporting war with North Korea was a “real possibility”. That truly frightens me. Yet Trump and Kim Jong-un look like two very bad Halloween costumes.

Trump says and Tweets things just to get a reaction – he obviously doesn’t think things through before he opens his mouth or fires off messages on his phone, which is dangerous.

To me Trump signifies everything that is wrong with America. He is racist, he is sexist, he is narcissistic and it is all the more magnified by him following such an amazing compassionate man as Barack Obama into office.

Hillary Clinton would have been a much better President. She is more experienced, more dignified and more measured.

Trump is so deluded about himself and his own intelligence. All he ever wants to talk about is himself, yet we have never even seen his tax returns.

He is certainly a bigger Mr Nasty than Simon. Simon is actually a really nice guy. But then Simon did go to Donald Trump’s wedding...

DANGEROUS President Trump
