BIG ISSUE FOR LEWIS

-

LEWIS HAMILTON’S Mercedes team have a “fundamental issue” to resolve with their car ahead of tomorrow’s Malaysian Grand Prix.

The three-time world champion (right), 28 points clear of title rival Sebastian Vettel, finished sixth after yesterday’s track sessions.

He said: “It’s been a very difficult day. I’ve been struggling with the car, so we have to review and try to understand where we have gone wrong with the balance.” Team boss Toto Wolff said: “It was certainly one of the worst Fridays I can remember. There is a fundamental issue in the car that we need to find out.”
