Dying lad ‘is marched out of his dream trip to Disneyland’

- BY JIM HARDY

A DYING boy’s mum says his dream trip to Disneyland Paris was ruined after a booking mix-up led to the family being marched out by security guards.

Layton Chapman, six, has quadriplegic cerebral palsy and epilepsy and could die from something as minor as a chest infection.

He was granted a four-day trip to Disneyland by Make-A-Wish, which arranges experiences for sick children. But when Layton and his family arrived, they were told they were two days late and would have to check out the next day. After much wrangling they ended up having just a day-and-ahalf to explore the park. Mum Danielle, of Hull, said: “Staff were arrogant and not helpful at all. We couldn’t leave the village, it was like a prison.” A Disneyland spokesman said: “We are working with the family to resolve the situation.”
