DYCHE LIFTED BY AWAY DAYS

-

SEAN DYCHE believes his Burnley side now think like Premier League players after overcoming their top-flight travel sickness.

With victory at Everton, the Clarets have already picked up eight points away from home this season – having only managed seven in all of the last campaign.

But with wins at Chelsea and Goodison Park plus draws at Tottenham and Liverpool, the Burnley boss feels his team (above) know what is needed to succeed.

Dyche said: “The players are shifting mentally. That is a really big thing. I said to them after the game it is amazing how tiny that shift is, but if you have it, you are more assured at these grounds.”

He suggested their tough start on the road may have eased the pressure, adding: “You can look at it with a bit of freedom because you are not expecting that much.”
