Rocket aims strike at the ‘numpties’

RONNIE O’SULLIVAN has branded some rival pros “numpties” in a Twitter rant.

The five-time world champion has snubbed this week’s European Masters in Belgium.

And the Rocket, 41, may now earn a rebuke or even disciplinary action from snooker bosses.

Asked why he was not competing in Belgium, he replied: “Couldn’t cope with playing a numpty at Barnsley to qualify.

“Can’t cope with playing the numpties mate, can only do it now and again or if the promoter pays.”
