Two Alsatians maul boy of 5

A BOY of five survived being savaged by two Alsatians in one of the worst dog attacks medics said they had seen.

Jayjay Batey, five, was left with a seven-inch wound to the back of his head.

He had a three-hour op after the attack in Chesterle-Street, Co Durham.

Mum Steph Carr, 25, said: “It was a bloodbath. The amount he was losing, he was in grave danger.”

Durham police said the dogs had been seized, but no arrests made yet.
