Driver jailed for cyclist kill

A DRIVER dashing to work after a night of booze and cocaine has been jailed for killing a cyclist.

Bar manager George Hacker, 26, was late after oversleeping and hit Simon Worthington, 35, head-on.

His Range Rover drifted over the road as he chatted on his phone in February.

At Coventry crown court Hacker, of Southam, Warks, admitted death by dangerous driving and a drug charges. He was jailed for four-and-a-half years and banned from driving.
