Drug ban Rab back in saddle

- BY DAVID YATES

RAB HAVLIN has vowed to “crack on from where I left off” when he returns to action from a drug ban tomorrow.

Havlin (below) has always maintained his innocence despite receiving a six-month suspension from French racing chiefs for a positive cocaine test.

The Scot, 43, said yesterday: “I’ve got to crack on from where I left off and put it behind me now.”

Havlin rides the John Gosden pair Purser and Damocles at Lingfield tomorrow afternoon before partnering the trainer’s Heather Lark at Chelmsford’s evening fixture.
