Farewell Tom, one of the greats

I was sad to hear of the death of American rock legend Tom Petty at just 66. It seems the gruelling tours and rock ’n’ roll excess have led another music icon to an early grave.

With his band The Heartbreakers and as a member of the 1980s supergroup the Traveling Wilburys, Petty was one of the rock greats. May he rest in peace, along with former Wilburys bandmates George Harrison and Roy Orbison. Brian Alcock, Sheffield
