Op lad Ben in video plea to NHS for help
MIRROR boy Ben Baddeley has made a heart-rending plea for NHS help, saying: “I want a normal life.”
Ben, 13, tells of his struggle for treatment in a video posted online.
It comes as his family launch a legal bid to get back £11,440 donated by our readers for ops to help him walk without pain.
His family had received a referral letter to an NHS consultant last year for the first time since Ben’s vital selective dorsal rhizotomy operation in 2014.
But they have failed to get any treatment for him since and now want cash paid to the NHS returned.
In the video Ben, of Silverdale, Staffs, says: “I don’t want to spend the rest of my life being ill.”
Mum Amy, 33, said: “Treatment input is vital.”
