Dove scraps ‘racist’ advert

A BEAUTY firm has pulled an advert that showed a black woman turning white apparently after using their body lotion.

Dove’s Facebook promo was blasted as “racist” and the firm admitted it had “missed the mark in representing women of colour thoughtfully”.

The advert showed a black woman removing her top to reveal a white woman underneath.

One protester said: “Never using a product from racist people again.”
