DESPOT Kim Jong-un has promoted his sister to North Korea’s top decision-making body.

Kim Yo Jong is blacklisted by the US after being linked to human rights abuses.

But now the 30-year-old, the youngest daughter of late leader Kim Jong-il, will replace her aunt on the Workers Party’s Politburo.

Ms Kim was already influential as vice-director of propaganda and agitation.

She frequently appears alongside her tyrant brother and is said to be in charge of his public image.

Kim revealed her promotion as part of a reshuffle involving dozens of officials.

Other key moves included Foreign Minister Ri Yong-ho, who last month referred to Donald Trump as “President Evil”, becoming a full member of the Politburo.

Mr Ri accused the US President of declaring war on North Korea and said his “dangerous” rhetoric will make the US an “inevitable” target for missile strikes.

Kim Jong Sik and Ri Pyong Chol, two of the three men behind Kim’s rocket scheme, were also promoted as their leader spoke of the “protracted nuclear threats of the US imperialists”.

His comments came hours before Mr Trump tweeted that “only one thing will work” in dealing with Pyongyang – which is feared to be plotting another missile launch.

Anton Morozov, a Russian who visited the North Korean capital recently, said that Kim’s regime told him of the test while claiming the weapon can reach the US West Coast and they have a nuclear warhead that can fit on it.

A likely launch date would be today, which is Columbus Day in the US. North Korea often times launches to coincide with American public holidays to ensure maximum coverage.
