Lover ‘ripped condom and said Got you’
THE hairdresser accused of deliberately infecting his lovers with HIV sabotaged a condom then told his partner: “I got you”, a court was told yesterday.
Daryll Rowe, 26, is said to have asked for unprotected sex, claiming he was free of diseases, but his American partner replied: “That’s not what I do.”
The alleged victim said Rowe tried to have sex with him while not wearing a condom but he had pushed him off and insisted he use one.
But the court heard Rowe later called him and said: “I ripped the condom. Burn. I got you.”
Rowe, from Edinburgh, denies infecting four men with the virus and attempting to infect six others. The trial at Lewes crown court continues.
