YOU SAY
I’m writing with reference to the many letters you receive from readers whose partners show them no affection.
I married my wife in 1954 and nothing gave me greater joy than to give her a cuddle or a kiss. We loved each other so much. Sadly, she died a couple of years ago, two hours before celebrating our diamond wedding anniversary.
I miss her so much, but life has to go on. If only those who don’t appreciate what they have with their partner could think about what a loss it is when that person is gone.
