Foxes go to Town
LEICESTER want to sign Crystal Palace winger Andros Townsend.
The Foxes are set to move for the 26-year-old England winger in January.
Townsend was a key player for Palace in their successful battle against relegation from the top flight last season under Sam Allardyce.
It led Leicester manager Craig Shakespeare to move for him at the end of the summer transfer window.
Palace refused to sell, insisting it would take a massive offer for them to change their minds.
But now the goal-shy Premier League’s crisis club may cash in on Townsend to finance their bid for a new striker.
Boss Roy Hodgson could press Wilfried Zaha into action up front with Christian Benteke out for at least another month.
Zaha has returned to first-team training for the first time since suffering a knee injury on the opening day of the campaign.
