BRADY IN CLEAR
FIFA last night cleared Robbie Brady to play in the World Cup play-offs.
The Republic of Ireland star (right), under investigation for allegedly butting Wales captain Ashley Williams in the back during Monday’s clash in Cardiff, is now in the clear after a FIFA panel studied TV footage. The play-off draw for Russia 2018 will be made in FIFA headquarters in Zurich on Tuesday lunchtime. Ireland and Northern Ireland will face one of Italy, Croatia, Denmark or Switzerland.
