Man survives 18th floor fall
A MAN survived a leap from the 18th floor of a hotel after hitting power lines and landing on a taxi.
He was stretchered to hospital, conscious and talking, after the apparent suicide attempt.
CCTV showed Juan Jose Chavez Perla, 48, opening a restaurant window and jumping in Lima, Peru.
A worker on the 16th floor said: “We heard the impact when he landed on the taxi. It was very loud.”
The full extent of Perla’s injuries was not revealed.
