Man, 19, dies in knifing at boxing brawl
A TEENAGER has died after being stabbed in the neck during a mass brawl at a boxing show.
Rival fans flung chairs and glasses, and the 19-year-old was knifed when the trouble spilled out on to the street.
Violence erupted partway through the title fight bill-topper between Luke Paddock and Myron Mills at Walsall Town Hall on Saturday night.
The teenage victim died in hospital last night and a second stabbing victim was thought to be recovering at home.
Detectives have launched a murder probe and Det Insp Ian Wilkins, of West Midlands Police, described the incident as “a large-scale disorder”.
Officers are now examining CCTV footage.
