‘GOALS MUST MEAN MAUR’

- BY ADRIAN KAJUMBA

MAURICIO PELLEGRINO ordered Southampton to up their game and make the most of their goals.

The Saints scored at home for just the second game in the last 10 thanks to striker Manolo Gabbiadini’s double. But boss Pellegrino (left) said: “It’s positive as the goals complete the striker’s job. At the same time we could help these goals with a better performance.

“Hopefully, next game we can improve our organisation.”

Newcastle defender DeAndre Yedlin was lucky to escape a red card and Pellegrino added: “It is part of the game and we have to respect the decision.”
