GOLF fans pay the most to watch their sport live, with an average of £777 a year.

They top rugby league supporters, who fork out £699 on tickets and travel, cricket lovers (£482) an football fans on £440, a survey by Ladbrokes said.

The firm said: “Passion for sport is strong.”
