Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) is a clinically recognised condition which affects around 1.2% of the population. It’s debilitating and paralysing.

People with OCD experience intensely negative, repetitive and intrusive thoughts, combined with a chronic feeling of doubt or danger (obsessions). In order to quell the thought or quieten the anxiety, they will often repeat an action again and again (compulsions).

OCD Youth aims to increase awareness and access to support for anyone under 25 affected. It’s run by young people with OCD, for young people with OCD.

They organise trips and outings, run online meet-ups, take part in campaigning activities, manage a youth website and social media channels, write articles, produce videos and much more.
