Walliams’ rat tale on screen

DAVID Walliams’ wickedly funny, bestselling children’s novel Ratburger is coming to Sky One this Christmas.

And this is the first look at Walliams as he stars in the gruesome comedy alongside BAFTA Awardwinning actress, Cilla and Gavin and Stacey star Sheridan Smith.

In the plot, life isn’t great for Zoe (Talia Barnett). Her stepmother (Smith) hates her and her dad (Mark Benton) is never around.

So when a dancing rat shows up in her bedroom, she quickly befriends him. But shifty burger van man Burt (Walliams) has very different ideas. And most of them involve a mincer…
