SJK, Kent I’d like to comment on the letter from the woman whose relationship is struggling due to living with her terminally ill mother-in-law (Dear Coleen, Sept 22).
It seems to me that her hubby has landed all the responsibility on her. He may be depressed, but his doctor can help him with that. They should also look into respite care, even if it’s an occasional thing to enable them to have time together.
But her husband needs to step up and take some responsibility instead of making excuses.
