Siblings languishin­g on waiting list

ALMOST two-thirds of children up for adoption are siblings in groups of two or more – and they wait longer than others.

Some 58% are four and over while 24% of the siblings are black and ethnic minority, according to the Adoption Register for England. Gemma Gordon Johnson of First4Adop­tion says: “We’ asking anyone who may be considerin adoption to think about siblings.”
