Weinstein’s Brit ‘victim’ in diary hint
HOLLYOAKS actress Lysette Anthony has hinted she may have found a diary that could back up her rape allegations against Harvey Weinstein.
Commenting on reports about the Hollywood producer, she tweeted: “Nice middle class English girls write diaries #MeToo.”
Lysette, 54, told police she was attacked in her London home in the 1980s but has since said she was unclear on the date.
Amazon Studios boss Roy Price quit yesterday after becoming embroiled in the sexual allegations against Weinstein. He was accused of ignoring actress Rose McGowan’s claims the mogul raped her.
Weinstein has “unequivocally” denied having any non-consensual sex.
