CONCUSSED PAIR MISS BIG CLASH WITH BATH

SCARLETS will be without concussion victims Rob Evans and John Barclay for their must-win European Champions Cup tie with Bath tomorrow.

The Pro14 champions are feeling the bruising effects of modern rugby and head coach Wayne Pivac is concerned the sport has not come to terms with brain injuries.

“We just don’t know enough about concussion,” said Pivac. “We have protocols we follow and both boys are failing them.”
