Flight is first hols memory
THE most common first memory of holidays abroad is a plane ride, research has found.
Sitting on a sun-kissed beach is second and third is being at the airport.
Child psychologist Dr Amanda Gummer said: “Flying has a feeling of magic about it for many children.” She added: “Children under five are unlikely to remember the holiday.”
Swimming in a pool was in fourth place in the poll of 1,000 adults by travel firm Florida4Less.
