BBC1’s Crimewatch is not just a TV show, it has been a vital tool in solving some terrible crimes that have had the police stumped. The reconstructing of crime scenes jogs people’s memories and they are often able to provide vital information which helps the police. It really will be a shame if the BBC goes ahead with its plans to scrap it.

After a six-year absence, it’s great to see the brilliant Curb Your Enthusiasm back on Sky Atlantic. The hapless Larry David has returned on top form with some fantastic cameo appearances from the likes of Ted Danson, Bryan Cranston and Jimmy Kimmel. David is one of the kings of comedy writing, and having him back makes the world a funnier place.
