Bring on the antiTrump revolution

Donald Trump has threatened to shut down NBC and other American networks which he deems to be peddling “fake news”. And, as any student of history knows, that could be really, really great news.

Because 100 years ago on Monday, Russia’s Provisional Government closed down all Bolshevik newspapers, allowing Leon Trotsky to call on the people of Petrograd to rise up as their freedoms were being stolen.

And so Russia’s October revolution began without a shot being fired.
