Spider fear is in tots’ DNA

BABIES are terrified of snakes and spiders, showing phobias are “embedded in the brain”, says a study.

Images of the creatures caused the tots’ pupils to enlarge dramatically.

Dr Stef Hoehl, of Germany’s Max Planck Institute, said: “Even the youngest babies seem to be stressed.”
