JACK HUNT has ordered Sheffield Wednesday’s boo-boys to lay off beleaguered boss Carlos Carvalhal.

Frustrated fans want Carvalhal axed after two years at the Hillsborough helm following the Owls’ slump in form.

But defender Hunt (right) said: ”It’s the players who are out there on the pitch, not the manager, so we are the ones who have to take responsibility.

“Obviously, every manager is the leader of the camp.

“But the facts are that we, as a team, are not performing. So I say blame us – not the gaffer.”
