PEDRO’S IN A PANIC AS GERS FLOP
RANGERS boss Pedro Caixinha is under massive pressure after his side were stunned 2-0 by Motherwell in the Scottish League Cup semi-final.
Caixinha was sent to the stands for an altercation with rival boss Steve Robinson on a desperate day for the Glasgow giants.
Two Louis Moult goals, a 52nd-minute volley and an outrageous 74th-minute lob, sent the Steelmen to the final against Celtic on November 26 instead.
Rangers defender Bruno Alves was lucky to stay on the field after kicking out at Moult late on.
Caixinha (above, kicking a water bottle) said: “It was a very poor performance. I take full responsibility, I am the leader and prepared them and we did not cope.”
Moult’s future is unclear though after refusing a new deal and he said: “I have to do the best for my family.”
