Silva’s in clear on Burnley pen
BERNARDO SILVA avoided a retrospective ban for diving after an FA panel yesterday reviewed the penalty the Manchester City star won against Burnley.
The three-man panel decided there was not “a clear and obvious case of simulation.” No Premier League player has yet been hit by a two-match suspension under new rules this season. Carlisle’s Shaun Miller last week became the first player in English football to be retrospectively banned.
