Mirthing pains
Greg Davies’ Channel 4 comedy Man Down is back for a fourth series tomorrow and is still absurdly hilarious.
But the mirth merchant didn’t have as much fun writing it as you will watching it. He says: “The writing process is my equivalent to giving birth.
“By the time you have the finished product you forget the pain of writing. It is sweat and tears.
“There are months of banging your head against a wall. But I don’t mind, I am especially proud of this series.”
